What to Check Before You Book a Monthly Apartment

The questions that save you a surprise

Booking a flat for three months or more is not booking a hotel night. The decision lasts longer, and a few questions before you confirm save a great deal afterwards.

What the price includes

Ask plainly what the monthly figure covers: electricity, water, internet. Units differ on this, and assuming is the source of most later disagreements. Ask for the full monthly figure, not the rent alone.

What is actually in the unit

Every unit on Hajz Shahr is shown with its real photographs and its list of amenities — from an equipped kitchen and air conditioning to a lift and proximity to services. Read the list, and do not assume anything that is not named.

Where exactly it is

Each unit's location is shown on the map. Look at it before booking: being near your work, your university or the hospital changes your day more than a small difference in rent does.

Whether you can see it first

You can. Contact the owner directly by phone or WhatsApp from the property page and arrange a viewing before you commit.

Duration and payment

The minimum is three months and you can extend. Nothing is charged when you confirm the request — payment is made on arrival, in cash or by card or bank transfer as agreed with the owner.

If a listing has no book button

Some units are arranged directly with the property team by phone rather than booked online, and those show no price. If there is no book button, that is why, and a call is the way in.

If you want serviced apartments rather than furnished

Serviced apartments are arranged by phone rather than through the site. These are their pages:
